Biography

Astra runs this web site and writes its content. She lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband and their three children.

Astra has trained with Drs Hal and Sidra Stone in the USA and in Australia. She has worked on staff at Hal and Sidra Stones' and Michael Rowland's workshops in Australia. She has been facilitating and teaching Voice Dialogue since 1996.

Her tertiary qualifications are in philosophy and education, which include the study of consciousness, theology, the philosophy of science, medicine and psychiatry, women's issues and child development. She has studied drama and has been meditating and practicing Iyengar yoga since 1992.

Astra is author of the email newsletter Daily Voice Dialogue and the books The Perfect Relationship and Enlightenment through Motherhood. She has also written articles about Voice Dialogue and relationships for magazines and newspapers, and has edited books which promote Voice Dialogue (Absolute Happiness by Michael Rowland and Stop Dieting and Lose Weight by Di Harris). She has worked as an editor in natural health and lifestyle, legal and education publishing.
