There are many selves in each of us, even though we usually identify with only a few. There are responsible selves and irresponsible selves, adult selves and child selves, rational selves and creative selves, spiritual selves and instinctual selves. Following is a list of some of the commonly found selves in western cultures and a brief description of them. Consider which of these inner selves you identify with the most.
