Astra Niedra runs this web site and writes its content. She lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband and their three children.

Astra has trained in Voice Dialogue with Drs Hal and Sidra Stone in the USA and in Australia, and has worked on staff at Hal and Sidra Stones' and Michael Rowland's workshops in Australia. She has been facilitating and teaching Voice Dialogue since 1996.

Astra is author of the books The Perfect Relationship and Enlightenment Through Motherhood. She has written articles for magazines such as WellBeing and Yen and has edited the books Absolute Happiness by Michael Rowland and Stop Dieting and Lose Weight by Di Harris. She blogs on Voice Dialogue and Conscious Parenting and for many years she wrote the pre-blog e-mail newsletter Daily Voice Dialogue which has been used in teaching institutions worldwide. She has worked as an editor in natural health, legal and education publishing.

Her tertiary qualifications are in philosophy and education. She has also studied economics, drama, meditation and yoga.
